What to do in the first 30 days after claiming your Bronze passport

Claiming your Bronze passport is step one. Here's what we'd recommend doing in the first 30 days to get the most out of it.
**Week 1: Sort your Google Business Profile first (if you have a physical location)**
If you have a physical location or serve customers in a specific area, your Google Business Profile is the highest-leverage thing you can do for local AI visibility — and it costs nothing. Make sure it's claimed, verified, category set correctly, hours accurate, and photos recent. Do this before anything else. AI systems that handle local queries draw heavily on GBP data; if it's incomplete, everything else you do has less impact.
**Week 1: Add your verification page link to your website**
Your verification page lives at `aiverified.io/v/[your-hash]`. Link to it from your website footer and your about page. This does two things: it gives human visitors a way to verify your identity, and it creates a crawlable link that AI systems can follow to your machine-readable identity record.
**Week 1: Embed the badge**
The badge embed code is in your passport dashboard. Add it to your website footer. The badge links to your verification page and signals to visitors that your business identity has been independently verified.
**Week 2: Add Organisation schema to your homepage**
If you don't already have Organisation schema on your homepage, add it. Include your `name`, `url`, `logo`, `address`, `telephone`, and — critically — your AI Verified hash as an `identifier`. The schema template in your dashboard generates this automatically.
**Week 2: Check your NAP consistency**
Search for your business name and check that your name, address, and phone number are consistent across Google Business Profile, your website, and any major directory listings. Inconsistency here is the most common reason businesses don't appear in local AI queries.
**Week 3: Consider domain verification (Silver)**
Domain verification upgrades your badge from Bronze to Silver and adds a stronger trust signal to your identity record. It takes about 10 minutes — you add a DNS TXT record or a meta tag to your website, then trigger verification from your dashboard. If you're on WordPress, the plugin handles this automatically.
After 30 days, you should have: a linked verification page, an embedded badge, Organisation schema on your homepage, consistent NAP, and (ideally) domain verification. That's the foundation. Everything else builds on it.
