The official seals
Bronze names the kind of file. Silver is still domain proof. Gold is still Gold. Shopify and Amazon are not their own seals.
Proof levels — what the metal means
The seal is the same family. The line under “AI VERIFIED” is the proof, not a new product.
Silver
Domain control attested. Website is tied to the file. Government numbers are still Gold.
Bronze
Public record only. We observed a Type A listing. The company has not proved the site. Free when they qualify. Not a sticker for the homepage unless they own the file.
The ladder is the same for every file
A Shopify store starts as AI Verified Ecommerce (Bronze). When they prove the domain, the seal switches to Silver — Domain verified. When they pay and attest, it becomes Gold. Same path for Amazon stalls, trades, SaaS, churches. Silver does not disappear for ecommerce.
We do not mint “AI Verified Shopify” or “AI Verified Amazon.” Those are platforms. The file says Ecommerce or Marketplace seller. Gold stays Gold so one paid mark exists.
Bronze names the kind of file
Until they prove the domain, the second line on the seal is the record type — not a new product.
Local
Storefront or service-area Type A. Default Bronze seal.
Ecommerce
They own the cart — Shopify, Woo, custom. Not a marketplace stall.
Marketplace
Amazon, Etsy, eBay stall. Profile URL is evidence. Gold still needs a domain they control.
National
Company that sells past one city. LinkDaddy sits here.
SaaS
Software product with its own domain.
Nonprofit
Charity or NGO. Same three proof levels.
Religious
Church, mosque, temple, ministry.
Brand
House name that is not the legal company. Child file.
Person
A named human. Not a shop.
Publication
Newsroom or journal with its own identity.
How to use a seal
The picture is not the product. The link behind it is. Gold paste goes through seal.js so the image always matches the live file. Then publish the short URL everywhere else — press, links, signature. That playbook is on How to use your Gold record.
Bronze is not a badge you buy. If the file is already public, Go Gold on that file. Do not invent a second listing.
