What we collect. What we check. What we do not claim.
What AI Verified collects, what it checks, and what the hash in the URL actually is. Gold does not mean every official record was independently matched.
Three different things
- Collected information — name, trade, place, website, Maps when observed.
- Sources supplied — a live official page the owner adds. On the file as a link until a separate review is recorded.
- Checks completed — website connection (badge or DNS/meta on the listed host). Official-source matching is not an automatic job today.
What “verified” means on a file
Bronze — public profile from observed listings. Not a quality rating.
Silver — website connection checked on the listed host. Free. Not a paid plan.
Gold — $297/year. Gold presentation, owner dashboard, official pages you supply, priority on AI Verified city and trade pages. Payment does not create a matched official-record result.
The hash in the URL
The 64-character string is a stable record identifier. It is assigned when the file is created. Later updates (Gold, official URLs, description) do not change it. That is why existing badge links keep working.
It is SHA-256 of a creation payload. It is not a fingerprint of the current public JSON, and it is not proof that the underlying facts are true. Do not treat “hashed” as “verified.”
What this is not
Not a government agency. Not Dun & Bradstreet. Not Wikipedia. Not a ChatGPT ranking. Not a licence or insurance check unless that check is separately recorded on the file.
