aiverified.io has launched its public registry, making it the first platform to issue cryptographically signed business identity passports specifically designed for verification by AI systems, large language models, and autonomous AI agents.

The registry addresses a fundamental gap in the AI era: AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity have no reliable way to verify whether a business is real. They can only cite what they have been trained on or what they can retrieve from structured, machine-readable sources. Businesses that are not represented in machine-readable formats are systematically excluded from AI recommendations — regardless of how established they are in the real world.

How the registry works

Every business that claims an AI Verified passport receives a permanent verification URL at aiverified.io/v/{hash}, where the hash is a 64-character SHA-256 fingerprint computed from the business's canonical identity document. The verification page serves full JSON-LD structured data in the page's <head> section, making the business immediately readable by AI crawlers, search engines, and API consumers.

The registry is free to join at the Bronze tier. Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers add additional verification layers and benefits including API access, priority indexing, and compliance documentation.

The five-pillar platform

The registry is the cryptographic heart of a broader five-pillar platform that includes a knowledge wiki, a verified business directory, a community forum for verified businesses, and an industry news section. Together, these pillars are designed to make aiverified.io the definitive authority platform on AI business verification.
