Named entity recognition is the first cut. The model highlights “Harbor Dental.” Resolution is the second cut. Harbor Dental in Tampa is not Harbor Dental in Toledo.
If recognition is sloppy, the rest of the stack never starts. If resolution is sloppy, the stack starts and then calls the wrong office.
Where pages help recognition
Write the name in text. Do not hide it in a logo-only header. Put the city next to the name once, in prose, not only in a footer widget that never renders for a bot.
Where files help resolution
A public record that already joined the name to a site and a place. That is the Bronze-to-Gold path here. Recognition still happens on whatever page the model saw first. The file is the tie-break.
Read why this exists. Check a name in the registry. Or start with a free check. Gold is $297 a year for a fuller identity. Paying does not itself verify the website.
