Wikidata deleted the item because the project is a knowledge base with published rules, not a business help desk. The official guide to requests for undeletion tells an owner who is asking about their own organization to stop. Those requests are rejected in the overwhelming majority of cases. A public talk page can then attach the word self-promotion to the company name.

Wikipedia’s company guideline is stricter still. A firm is presumed notable only after significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. The company website does not count. A press release does not count. A directory row does not count. A Sunbiz, Companies House, or CIPC filing proves a legal entity exists. It does not meet the coverage test.

Answer engines and GEO guides still send owners to Wikidata because that is the fastest path into a knowledge graph when the item survives. Most local trades, clinics, and shops will not survive. The buyer questions continue. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google still get asked who the firm is. The encyclopedia page is gone. The phone number, the city, and the website still have to resolve.

What not to do next

Do not recreate the same item under a new label. Recreations of deleted items are easier to remove than first attempts. Do not hire undisclosed paid editors. Wikimedia’s paid-contribution policy requires disclosure; hiding it is the fastest path to a block. Do not treat undeletion as a customer ticket.

What to do instead

  1. Keep one legal name, one phone, one website, one city on the homepage and on the map listing.
  2. Publish a third-party public identity file that states those facts and dates them.
  3. Prove the website is yours if you want the file to say the site is controlled.
  4. Attach a live official registry URL only when that page exists. Do not invent a number.
  5. Associate the file with real places and trades already in public knowledge bases. Do not invent a company Wikipedia page.

AI Verified publishes that file. Bronze is a selective snapshot. Gold is $297 a year after website proof. The hash fingerprints the text. It does not make a weak fact strong.
