What is Type A?
Type A is a classification for some local public records. It is not the requirement for every AI Verified identity, and it is not a scrape of every map pin.
What Type A covers
A local storefront or service-area record can be classified Type A when the public name is clear and there is a way to reach the business. A place or service area belongs on that record when the business has one.
A Google Business Profile can be evidence for that local record. It is not required for the registry as a whole. An online store, a creator, a professional, a software company, a brand, a franchise, or a nonprofit does not have to have a map listing.
What Type A is not
Not the door every business must pass. Not a “best of” ranking. Not a licence. Not Gold. Not proof that someone controls a domain.
Bronze is the free public business identity. Silver is the free website connection, after the supported website-control check. Gold is the optional $297/year fuller identity, with supporting sources the owner adds. Gold is not website verification.
