Definition
On AI Verified, a business passport is a stable public identity record for a Type A classified organization. It lives at a URL of the form https://aiverified.io/v/{hash}, where the hash is a SHA-256 forensic reference derived from ordered identity fields.
The passport is designed to be re-opened later by a human, a crawler, or an answer engine — the same way a well-kept filing reference works, not the way a rotating marketing landing page works.
What a passport contains
- Business or organization name and trading name when present
- Tier (Bronze Public Record Verified, or Gold, the optional fuller identity. Gold is not a domain check)
- Category, geography, contact paths, website domain when known
- Entity summary grounded in observed identity signals
- Evidence changelog (versions, sources, timestamps)
- Structured data (Organization and related graph)
- Association links to real places and activities when available
- Explicit non-claims and methodology pointers
Why a hash
The forensic hash gives the record a durable identifier. Citations, badges, and CRM rows can point at the same identity surface. Evidence can append in versions without pretending the underlying identity reference never existed.
This is cryptographic referencing for public identity packaging — not a government e-passport, not an EU product passport for goods, and not a claim of legal incorporation by itself.
What a passport is not

- Not a review profile or star ranking
- Not a substitute for licenses, insurance, or regulated KYB
- Not a guarantee of search or AI placement
